X-Ray image of the Orion Nebula taken within the Chandra Orion Ultradeep Project

This image shows the Upper Scorpius association. The asterisks mark the positions of the massive stars which belong to the association. The bright region slightly left of the center is the rho Ophiuchus star forming region.

Here, LABOCA ( Large APEX Bolometer Camera) data is shown in orange tones, combined with a visible light image from the Curtis Schmidt telescope at the Cerro Tololo Interamerican Observatory. This image was produced from our LABOCA data by ESO.

This Image shows a RGB composite of the red optical (DSS) image in blue, our Herschel 70 micron image in green, and our Herschel 160 micron image in red. The green plus signs mark the positions of the high-mass stellar members of the Carina Nebula
