Second LMU-ETH cosmology workshop has successfully concluded

The 2nd installment of a joint workshop between cosmologists at ETH and LMU was held in Zurich from the 11th to the 13th of September.

The cosmology research group at ETH Zurich and the Chair for Astrophysics, Cosmology and AI at LMU are both pioneering machine learning techniques to analyse and understand the vast amounts of data that are being produced by modern galaxy. This made it natural for Prof. Alexandre Refregier, Dr. Luca Tortorelli and Prof. Daniel Gruen to initiate exchange between the two groups - an initiative which has turned into a fruitful collaboration between the involved ETH and LMU researchers.
