KI4S'Cool - Learning with and about AI
Supporting individualized learning with AI and AI literacy as a basic competence in a digital world.
Goals/target group
The KI4S'Cool project aims to teach students and teachers how to use and understand AI. A personalized, AI-based assistance and feedback system is implemented that offers students individual tasks and helps them to identify their strengths and weaknesses. Both students and teachers will receive guidance on how to reflect on AI algorithms using their own data to develop an understanding of the impact of AI.
Contents
KI4S`Cool deals with the increasing importance of user-generated data in the digital world and the processing of this data by artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms in platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, TikTok and others. It is pointed out that responsible use of such technologies requires knowledge of and reflection on AI-based data processing, which has often been lacking in school education to date.
Teachers are also taught strategies in training courses to enable them to create short tasks independently and incorporate them into their lessons. The overarching aim of the project is to promote AI literacy among pupils and teachers by raising their awareness of the use and impact of AI.
