Steffen Steinert researches the use of artificial intelligence, in particular large language models (LLMs), in education to improve learning success and reduce the workload of teachers. To this end, he is developing his own web platforms for implementing LLMs in physics lessons.

Short biography

Steffen Steinert completed his degree in physics at the University of Kaiserslautern (now the University of Kaiserslautern-Landau) in 2020. In the same year, he began his doctorate there and worked as a research assistant in Prof. Dr. Kuhn's Didactics of Physics working group. Since Prof. Dr. Kuhn's move to the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich in 2022, he has been employed at the RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau in the Department of Design of Microelectronic Systems of Prof. Dr. Wehn.

In the following year, he also began working at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich in Prof. Dr. Kuhn's Department of Didactics of Physics.
