Areas of work/research

Natalia Revenga Lozano´s research focuses on teaching and learning through intelligent tutoring systems that utilize both Machine Learning for adaptive learning and generative AI such as Language Models (LLMs). She is developing an online platform that functions as an intelligent tutor. A central aspect of her work involves training ML models aimed at improving pupils success in physics. She investigates the effectiveness of these tutors compared to traditional classroom environments and non-adaptive online platforms.

Short biography

Natalia Revenga Lozano completed a degree in Physics at the Complutense University of Madrid (2015-2019) with a focus on Fundamental Physics. She then completed a Master's degree in Condensed Matter Physics at the Technical University of Munich (2019-2021). For her master's thesis, she researched artificial molecules for use as qubit systems. Since 2021, she has been pursuing a PhD at Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich at the Chair of Physics Education.
