Real World Anchoring
Augmented visualizations anchored in the everyday life to support conceptual learning in physics.
Augmented visualizations anchored in the everyday life to support conceptual learning in physics.
The overarching goal is to find technological and conceptual solutions that can be generalized beyond a specific application and subject. By combining highly topical issues with innovative didactic concepts and modern methods of human-machine interaction, new scientific findings in physics didactics are expected to be gained.
The project aims to improve the understanding of physical concepts through innovative technologies and didactic approaches. New interactive concepts and technologies will be developed, for example using mixed reality, to make learning tangible on different length and time scales in the real environment of everyday life. The aim is to close the gap between formal learning in educational institutions and informal learning in everyday life and to increase the interest and motivation of learners.
It explores the benefits of augmented reality (AR) in environments outside the classroom and its impact on learning by supporting everyday, collaborative and informal learning. Fundamental questions of technology-enhanced learning and human-machine interaction will be addressed and a mixed-method design will be used to conceptualize and evaluate such approaches.
