QL3 - Quantum LifeLong Learning

Development of Quantum LifeLong Learning, a targeted training and further education program.

Goals/target group

The aim of the project is to establish Quantum LifeLong Learning, a targeted training and further education program at Munich universities in the field of quantum technologies based on a university certificate system with the target group of specialists and managers in industry. In close cooperation with an industrial advisory board and university didactics experts, world-renowned top researchers are developing coherent concepts and programs to jointly promote this new subject area in adult education at the interface between cutting-edge research and product development.

Contents

Through the close involvement of an industrial advisory board, the training modules can be developed according to industrial needs and thus market value. In the medium term, a business model of self-financing through course fees, anchored in the TUM Institute for LifeLong Learning (TUM IL³), is envisaged. This will make QL3 a driving force for the German QT industry in the medium and long term.
