DigiProMIN

In DigiProMIN, research-based digitalization-related and digitally supported professionalization modules for STEM teaching are being developed in collaboration with other locations (TU Munich, IPN Kiel, HU Berlin, University of Potsdam). The aim is to enable teachers to teach with and via digital media. (The Chair of Physics Education is developing a module on the use of AI-based assistance systems).

Goals/target group

  • Objective: Development of a module for dealing with AI-based assistance systems
  • Target group: Teachers

Contents

The main content of the teacher training is the use of AI-based assistance systems, such as ChatGPT, and their possible use in the classroom. There are various ways in which AI-based assistance systems can support teachers, for example in the development of tasks, and learners, such as personalized support in solving tasks. These possibilities will be discussed and presented as examples in the teacher training course and tried out in real lessons.

During the project, teaching materials for teacher training are to be developed. These materials are to be made available online as part of DigiProMIN, whereby the final training course can be conducted digitally, hybrid or in person.
