Summer Semester 2025
In order to attend courses at the Faculty of Physics in the summer semester 2025, course registration via LSF is required. The registration period is from 31.03.2025 to 14.04.2025. Students who are not yet enrolled in the mentioned registration period can register subsequently from 16.04.2025 to 07.05.2025.
If registration in LSF is not required for individual courses, this is noted in LSF for the respective course.
Students of all Bachelor's, Master's, minor and teaching degree programmes who started their studies in the summer semester 2023 or earlier have to register for courses via the LSF course catalogue as in previous semesters, as the ‘Register for courses’ function is not activated for these degree programmes.
In order to attend courses at the Faculty of Physics in the summer semester 2025, course registration via LSF is required.. The registration period runs from 31.03.2025 to 14.04.2025. Students who are not yet enrolled in the mentioned registration period can register subsequently from 16.04.2025 to 07.05.2025.
If registration in LSF is not required for individual courses, this is noted in LSF for the respective course.
Students of all Bachelor's, Master's, minor and teaching degree programmes who have started their studies from the winter semester 2023/24 must register for the courses via the LSF function ‘Register/deregister for courses’. Detailed information on how to do this can be found in the following documents:

The regulations described here do not apply to students of the Master's degree programme TMP. These students must register via the LSF course catalogue regardless of the semester in which they started their studies.
Registration period for module exams in summer semester 2025: 30.06.2025 - 20.07.2025
Further information on registering for the module exams will be announced here in advance.
The first examinations of the mandatory courses take place between 28.07.2025 and 08.08.2025.
The repeat examinations of the mandatory courses take place between 08.09.2025 and 19.09.2025.
The specific dates will be announced in advance in the LSF course catalogue.
Invited are all students who start a Master's Degree program in Physics, Meteorolgy or Astrophysics for the 2025 summer semester. We provide information on the programs' structure and on examination matters.
When? Tuesday, 22 April 2025, 14:00 CET
Where? Großer Physikhörsaal, N 120, Geschwister-Scholl-Platz 1 (University Main Building)
The event will also be broadcast via Zoom. About one week before the event, all prospective Master's degree students will receive an email with the access data for the Zoom video-conference.
