Areas of work/research

As part of the XR team, Eva-Maria Rott focuses on the impact of modern technologies such as virtual reality and augmented reality on the learning process in STEM subjects, particularly physics.

She specifically investigates the applicability of various types of process data (e.g., eye tracking) and AI tools for the personalization and optimization of learning and teaching materials.

Short biography

Eva-Maria Rott earned her Masters’ degree in Mathematics at the Technical University of Munich (2020) within the framework of the TopMath study program, where she subsequently took up doctoral studies in the field of partial differential equations, which she is currently completing. In parallel, she cultivated her interest in physics and philosophy at the Technical University of Munich as well as at the Munich School of Philosophy, and has been integrating these interests since 2024 in a teacher education program (Mathematics, Physics, and Ethics) at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich.
