The DigiQ project will drive a transformation of the education ecosystem through the introduction of a range of didactic innovations and a multinational program structure that can be extended to the rest of the European Higher Education Area.
To meet the emerging demand for a quantum-ready workforce in the coming decade, university education efforts in quantum technology must not only be massively expanded, but also comprehensively reformed. There is an urgent need for a broader understanding of the fundamentals of the quantum revolution as well as a greater awareness of the commercial potential of quantum innovations among the coming generations of quantum physicists.
